A peaceful haven in beautiful surroundings, Nuweiba is located on a sandy flood plain sandwiched between the clear coral-filled seas of the Gulf of Aqaba, with the Saudi mountains rising up behind to the east, and to the west, the mountains of Sinai with its world famous monastery of St. Catherine.

Home to Ooli, the world famous dolphin with her baby. Inhabited by the charming and friendly bedouin tribes of Tarabin to the north and Maizena to the south. Believed by some to have been the place where Moses crossed the Red Sea. Nuweiba nowadays is truly a quiet and beautiful place to visit, but has witnessed in its past many historic, glorious and, sometimes, tragic events from Pharaonic times to the more recent Israeli occupation.
